Our resort borders the Shawnee National Forest which extends over 280,000 acres of rough mountaintops and rugged rock formations between the natural borders of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers. Maple, dogwood, oak and pine are interspersed among the unique sandstone formations that decorate the eastern hills. Access to miles of hiking, biking and horseback trails, including the American Discovery Trail, can be found in the Shawnee.

Our cabins and chalets sit next to soothing, running streams and waterfalls – with breathtaking lake front views. Each cabin/chalet features a full kitchen, living room, large deck, full bedroom, 2 loft bedrooms and full bath.
Lounge in our 3,000 square foot air conditioned lakeside pavilion. Have a pizza, a panini, enjoy a game of checkers or chess. Read Hemingway in one of our cushioned seating enclaves or just enjoy a million dollar view of the Lake of Egypt, in particular the magnificent sunsets.
